This Chardonnay comes from particularly old vines from the Burgundian top appellation Pouilly-Fuissé. It glows light yellow in the glass and its slightly smoky and roasted scent, reminiscent of herbs, blossoms and yellow and white fruits, makes you want more. The palate impression of the 'Terroir' is expressive and persistent, with aromas of Mirabelle plums, citrus fruits, pears and white peaches, herbal and spicy tones, hints of roasted nuts and caramel, fine acidity, pronounced, slightly smoky minerality, delicate enamel and a juicy and at the same time a solid finish. A wine for top-class menus with fish and crustaceans, mushrooms, poultry and/or veal, which also holds its own as a soloist.
